Delete your account

You can delete your Concordância account and its data whenever you like. Here is how to do it, what is erased and how long it takes.

In the app or on the website (the fastest way)

While you are signed in, you delete the account yourself, right away, without writing to anyone:

  1. Sign in to your account, in the Concordância app or at concordancia.com.br.
  2. Open Settings and go to the Account section.
  3. Tap “Delete my account”, read the notice and confirm by typing DELETE (or your password, if you have one).

If you are not signed in, the app asks you to sign in first.

I cannot sign in to my account

If you lost access (for example, you forgot your password and the recovery email does not arrive), ask for the deletion by email. Write to concordancia@hiperplano.com from the same address you use for the account, saying you want to delete it. If you write from another address, we will ask you to confirm the account is yours. Before asking, it is worth trying “Forgot password” on the sign-in screen: once you are back in, you can delete the account yourself right away.

What is erased

When you delete the account, we erase everything linked to it:

  • Your access: email, password and the ways to sign in (Google, Apple, Microsoft).
  • Your profile: name, photo and, if you filled them in, city, country, month and year of birth and church details.
  • Your notes, marks, highlights and comments.
  • Your reading plans, progress, chapters read, reading history and statistics.
  • Your AI conversations, the questions and answers, and any credits left.
  • Your settings and preferences, reminders and the notification subscriptions of your devices.
  • The share links you created (for notes, plans and verses).
  • Your posts, replies and reactions in reading groups. If you lead a group with other people, leadership passes to the longest-standing member; if you are the only person in the group, the group is deleted.
  • The Premium subscription, if any: it is cancelled along with the account, and Premium ends with it.

What may remain

Very little, and never linked to you:

  • An anonymous record that a deletion took place (the date and general data, such as the sign-in method). No name, email, identifier or IP address.
  • What the law requires us to keep, such as tax and accounting data of charges, which stay with the payment provider for the legal period.
  • Reports you sent through “Report a problem” stay, but without any link to the account. If you gave an email in them and want them erased, ask at concordancia@hiperplano.com.

Timing

  • In the app or on the website: deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Not even we can recover the account afterwards.
  • By email: we reply and complete the deletion within 15 days, after confirming that the account is yours.

Want to erase only part of it?

Without deleting the account, you can delete notes and marks one by one, clear the history of AI conversations and remove profile data in Settings.
